✅ QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION Active ingredient:
Contains 20 mg Mitomycin.
Excipient(s): Sodium Chloride 48 mg For excipients see section 6.1.
✅ FARMASÖTİK FORM Solution for injection, diluted before use, blue-violet powder in a glass vial with a rubber stopper.
In systemic and intravesical applications in bladder cancer, breast cancer, head and neck squamous cell cancers, stomach and pancreatic cancers, prostate cancer, cervix uterine squamous cell cancer.
Posology / application frequency and duration:
Intravenous administration
Intravenous administration should be done as slowly as possible and with extreme caution to prevent extravasation..
MThe usual dose range is 4-10 mg (0.06-0.15 mg/kg) and is administered in combination with other drugs or at 1-6 week intervals depending on bone marrow renewal.
The general dosage schedule for combination therapy is 10 mg/m2 body surface area and the dose is repeated as needed. Adequate response was achieved by applying the dose of 40-80 mg (0.58-1.2 mg/kg) alone or in combination treatment. The higher dose regimen may also be administered alone or in combination as a total cumulative dose of 2 mg/kg.
Intraarterial administration
For application into specific tissues, MITOMYCIN can be administered directly into the tumor via intra-arterial route.
